Product Overview
Sunray colored EVA interlayer film is designed for decorative laminated glass, offering four visual effects: transparent, opaque, jade sand, and frosted. With over 50 standard colors and custom color support, it is widely used in both indoor and outdoor decorative safety glass projects.
All colored series feature UV blocking rate > 99%, yellowing index AYI < 0.5 after anti-aging tests. Suitable for long-term outdoor use — no fading, no yellowing, no delamination.

A: Yes, it can be used outdoors. All colored series have a UV blocking rate > 99%. After 2,000-hour accelerated UV aging tests, yellowing index AYI < 0.5 and transmittance decrease < 0.3%, ensuring long-term color stability in outdoor environments.
Q: How do I choose between transparent, opaque, jade sand, and frosted effects?
A: Choose transparent colored for light transmission with visible color; choose opaque for full light blocking; choose jade sand for privacy with a warm, soft finish; choose frosted for strong light blocking with a matte colored effect. Contact us to request samples for comparison.
Q: Why do jade sand films of different colors have very different light transmittance values?
A: The jade sand effect refers to soft, diffused light transmission that obscures visibility. However, the depth of the color itself affects transmittance. Light colors (e.g. Jade Bright Yellow ≥77%, Jade Coral Rose ≥71%) allow more light through, while dark colors (e.g. Jade Red ≥12%, Jade Dark Coffee ≥21%) have lower transmittance. Please consider both color and required light transmission when selecting, and contact us for color swatches and samples.
Q: What is the difference between jade sand and frosted effects?
A: Both jade sand and frosted provide privacy while allowing some light through, but differ in texture and light-blocking level:
Jade Sand: Warm, smooth jade-like surface finish. Light passes through with soft diffusion. Higher transmittance (light colors up to 60%+). Elegant and refined — ideal for office partitions, bathroom glass, and high-end decorative screens.
Frosted: Matte finish similar to acid-etched glass. Stronger light-blocking, with transmittance generally below 17%. A heavier, more substantial look — ideal for feature walls, decorative panels, and colored partitions where light transmission is not required.
In short: choose jade sand for soft light and a warm finish; choose frosted for strong opacity and rich color.
