The carbon emissions of the glass industry mainly come from three aspects: fossil fuel combustion emissions account for more than 60% of the carbon emissions of glass production, and the carbon dioxide formed by the decomposition of raw materials or carbon oxidation accounts for 25%-27%, and electricity emissions account for about 13%.For the flat glass industry, the conversion of natural gas through compressed supply and fuel is the most effective way to achieve carbon reduction. Among them, “coal to gas” has more room for carbon reduction and mainly relies on environmental protection policies to promote it. This will change the industry in the past.
